How to care about sterling silver jewelry!

Our tips on choosing color!

If you wish for a piece of jewelry that you wouldn’t have to take off at all, then we recommend choosing the silver option (999 silver plated on silver 925).

We proudly announce that our plated jewelry ( rose gold and ruthenium ) are plated using Eco Friendly liquids that will not cause any irritations on your skin. It is a thin layer applied on silver 925 and in order to maintain it for a longer period, it is advised to take the rings off when in contact with water, antiseptics, hand creams or chemical cleaning solutions. Your bracelets and earrings it is advised to take them off before your shower and the visit at the beach or the pool.

Rings!

-when using chemicals (like cleaning the house, however you could wear gloves and not take them off)

-when swimming at the swimming pool (there is chlorine that could damage your silver jewelry)

If you decide to take them off for a while from your finger remember to store them at a jewelry box, or the box or bag they came with to avoid oxidation from the atmosphere.

Extra tip and very important!

Avoid wearing sterling silver rings next to another ring as it could scratch both of them while moving your fingers! However you can stack them as much as you can all to the same finger without problem!

Silver plated sterling silver earrings

Wear them as much as you want except from when visiting the swimming pool!

When not wearing them store them at their box so that the oxygen from the atmosphere doesn’t oxidize them.

Gold or Rose gold plated sterling silver jewelry

This applies for both rings and earrings!

Gold or rose gold plating is a thin film that is applied on sterling silver. We especially only use eco friendly plating solutions that are cyanide free.

So in order to maintain the thin film of plating for a longer time you will have to take your jewelry off when using water or any cleaning chemicals.

When the plating comes off you can come in touch with us to rearrange a plating for you.
